Part Time Teen Library Page Job

The Liberty Public Library is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time teen Library Page position. The individual must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application with dependable transportation to the Library. The position will be approximately 5-10 hours per week with a variable schedule including afterschool, evening and Saturday shifts. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working teenager who enjoys working with children, and has excellent computer and communication skills.  Examples of typical duties include, but are not limited to: Preparation of craft material for children’s programs; Assisting with set-up and helping children at library programs; Creation of Library promotional flyers and signage; Checking in and out of Library materials; Reading shelves for accuracy of order, re-shelving materials as needed; Dusts or cleans materials; and Assisting the public in the use of electronic equipment, including photocopier, scanner, fax machine, printers, and computers.  This would be an excellent opportunity for someone interested in working with graphic design.


Rate of Pay: $13.20/ hour
