Liberty Library Teens Organize a Successful Collection Drive for Liberty’s Catskill Animal Rescue
The Teen Advisory Group of the Liberty Public Library recently organized a collection drive for the animals at Liberty’s local animal shelter, the Catskill Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.).
These caring teenagers were involved in all aspects of the collection drive, from making phone calls to creating flyers and dropping off all the collected items. As a result of their efforts and our generous community, they collected over 150 items ranging from dog food to bottles of detergent, plus $150 in direct monetary contributions to C.A.R.E.
The Library would like to thank everyone in the community who took part in this service project, including Golden Park Apartments who sponsored a collection box in their front office.
