Welcome to the Liberty Public Library....

WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE--We have moved back to our newly expanded and remodeled building at 189 North Main Street in Liberty.

Inter-library loan of items from other area libraries is now available. The catalog is now set to search all titles available in RCLS Area C, which includes the public libraries of Mamakating, Pine Bush, Cragsmoor, Ellenville, Grahamsville, Fallsburg, Monticello, Liberty Roscoe, Livingston Manor, Eldred, and Western Sullivan (Callicoon, Jeffersonville, Narrowsburg). You can adjust the search settings from RCLS Area C to "Everything" to see holdings of all RCLS libraries, although materials from those other libraries are not yet available to request. For assistance with placing holds or finding items, please call the library at (845)292-6070 or email us at lib@rcls.org.

AFTER A HOLD HAS BEEN PLACED--Please wait for a notification from the library that your items are available. You will then contact us to arrange an appointment for pick up time and further instructions. When coming for pick up, you will be asked to come to our back parking lot, call us to let us know you've arrived and stay in your car while we place items in your trunk.

OUR BOOK DROP has been relocated to the back of the building for your convenience.

We look forward to providing you with reading, watching and listening materials again! Check out our online calendar at https://libertypubliclibrary.libcal.com or our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/libertynypubliclibrary to view upcoming online programs. These may also be accessed on our website.
